02

Acceptance of terms

By accessing and using the dac.eu website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions, as well as the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these provisions, please do not use the site.

DAC reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes take effect upon publication on the site, and continued use after publication implies acceptance of the new version.

03

Purpose of the website

The dac.eu website is a presentation tool for the products and services offered by Autovehicule DAC S.A., intended for:

  • Presenting the range of electric commercial vehicles (trucks, special vehicles, buses).
  • Providing technical, commercial, and specification information about each model.
  • Receiving quote requests, information inquiries, and newsletter subscriptions.
  • Providing interactive tools (configurator, comparator, TCO calculator).
  • Communicating news and updates from the company's activity.

Important: the website is not an online shop. Orders, contracts, and vehicle deliveries take place exclusively through separate commercial contracts, signed between DAC and the customer in written form.

04

Use of the website

Users undertake to use the site exclusively for lawful and legitimate purposes. The following are prohibited:

  • Attempts at unauthorized access to DAC systems, database, or admin panel.
  • Use of bots, scrapers, or other automated means that may affect site operation.
  • Submitting false, abusive, defamatory information or that may harm the image of DAC or third parties.
  • Reproducing, redistributing, or commercially using the site's content without prior written consent.
  • Activities contrary to applicable Romanian or European legislation.

DAC reserves the right to restrict access for users who violate these provisions, without prior notice.

05

Intellectual property

All elements of the dac.eu website — texts, images, photographs, videos, logos, design, source code, structure, DAC trademarks, vehicle model names, and other materials — are the property of Autovehicule DAC S.A. or its licensing partners and are protected by copyright and intellectual property legislation.

Viewing, downloading for strictly personal and non-commercial use, as well as downloading PDF brochures publicly made available on the site, is permitted. Any other use — reproduction, distribution, modification, publication, transmission to third parties — requires prior written consent from DAC.

06

Accuracy of information

We make every effort to ensure that the information presented on the site is correct, complete, and up-to-date. However:

  • Vehicle technical specifications may be subject to change without prior notice, as part of the continuous product improvement process.
  • Images on the site are illustrative and may show options or features not included in the standard configuration.
  • Prices and commercial conditions communicated on the site are indicative. The final binding offer is provided in written form, individualized for each customer.
  • TCO calculators and suggested configurations are orientation tools. Results do not constitute a commercial offer and may differ from effective contractual conditions.
  • Model availability and delivery terms are confirmed exclusively within the individual commercial offer.
07

Limitation of liability

The website is provided "as is" and "as available". DAC does not warrant:

  • Continuous, uninterrupted, error-free, or fault-free operation.
  • Compatibility with all devices, browsers, or technical configurations.
  • Complete absence of viruses or other potentially harmful components.

To the extent permitted by law, DAC shall not be held liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the site. This limitation does not apply in cases of fraud or gross negligence, as established by applicable law.

08

Third-party links

The site may contain links to websites operated by third parties (social networks, service partners, suppliers). These links are provided for informational purposes only. DAC does not control and assumes no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of these third-party sites.

09

Forms and data collection

Data submitted through site forms (contact, configurator, comparator, newsletter, chat) is processed exclusively under the conditions set out in our Privacy Policy.

The user guarantees that the information submitted is correct, complete, and that they hold all necessary rights to communicate it to DAC. Submitting false data or data on behalf of other persons without authorization constitutes a breach of these terms.

10

Force majeure

DAC shall not be liable for delays or inability to fulfill its obligations caused by force majeure events or fortuitous events, as defined in the Romanian Civil Code: natural disasters, armed conflicts, major interruptions of essential services (energy, telecommunications, internet), large-scale cyberattacks, public authority measures, etc.

11

Dispute resolution

Any disputes between users and DAC shall first be resolved amicably, by contacting our team at contact@dac.eu.

If an agreement cannot be reached, disputes shall be submitted for resolution to the competent courts at the DAC registered office in Brașov, in accordance with applicable Romanian law.

Consumers may also use the European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform, available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

12

Applicable law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable Romanian law. For matters not expressly covered by these terms, the provisions of the Romanian Civil Code, consumer protection legislation, and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) shall apply.
